Is hot or cold better?

There are pros and cons to both hot and cold wash systems, and to help your decision-making process, ask yourself these questions:

  • What am I cleaning?
  • How many am I cleaning?
  • How long do I need to clean for?
  • What type of environment has the equipment been exposed to?

How do I know what pressure washer is best for me?

This depends on a lot of variables such as the setup at your site, what you are washing, how much, frequency etc. We don’t expect our customers to know what pressure washer is best suited for them; this is our job! We consult with you and assess your current operations and discuss what your requirements are. Only after this, do we propose the ideal solution for you. Contact us today for some expert advice.

Why don’t you sell mobile pressure washers?

From our experience working with the many industries we serve; we have found that mobile pressure washers aren’t the ideal solution for our customer base. And at Rhinowash, we only provide solutions that are right for our customers. So, what’s the issues with mobile pressure washers:

  • Risk of trip and electrocution for the operator due to trailing power and water cables
  • Highly susceptible to theft
  • Unaccountable setup and stow away costs
  • Costly frost damage risk
  • Increased contamination risk from uncontrolled effluent into watercourses
  • Increased risk of damage to continuous movement and relocating

Does Location matter?

In short, yes! When your wash system is set up in the wrong location, it will affect the reliability and lifespan of your machine, your operator’s safety and the flow of traffic to and around it.

Do I need a hose reel management system?

No, not always but again this can depend on your setup and requirements. If trailing hoses or freezing hoses are a common headache, a hose management system could be the answer to your problems.

What are pressure washers used for?

Pressure washers can be used for many cleaning requirements – fleets such as lorries, trucks, vans, ambulances, trains, plant & construction equipment, premises/buildings, structures, stadiums and even animals!

Do you sell accessories for my pressure washer?

Yes, we sell accessories and consumables for our pressure washers. For more information on the accessories you need, to boost your pressure washer, visit our blog.

Can I purchase service agreements for my machine?

Yes. We offer different care packages to suit your needs. Simply choose the care-plan that best suits your business and let Rhinowash take care of the rest. Contact us today for more information.

What other industries do you serve?

The list is endless as we’re yet to come across an industry that we can’t serve. A few to name are local authorities, emergency services, plant and construction, road transport, and the Ministry of Defence.

Is a pressure washer easy to use?

Overall, a pressure washer is easy enough to use, but there are some variables dependent on the manufacturer. Rhinowash equipment has simplicity built-in through our simple and safe remote operation.

Is a pressure washer easy to install?

Yes. There are a few base requirements for pressure washers before they can be installed, such as power and water. When you buy our RX series pressure washer, it comes with full mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ventilation pre-installed as well as a bunded fuel tank. It doesn’t come much easier than that!

Can a pressure washer be kept outside?

Yes, with the right guidance and solution put in place. Our RX series is designed and built for all weather conditions whereas our ST series is usually installed inside a building to give it that extra bit of protection.

Do you manufacture your own products?

Yes! We are proud to be flying the Made in Britain flag as all our products are manufactured in our HQ in Wishaw, Scotland.

What manufacturing standards does Rhinowash comply with?

All Rhinowash equipment is manufactured in compliance with directives 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive – 2014/35/EU (LVD) - 2014/30/EU (EMC). Our commitment to quality is reflected in our ISO 9001:2015 certification. This certification validates the processes Rhinowash has in place and those processes Rhinowash have continued to improve throughout the 45-year history of the company.

What are the differences between the models?

Both products have been built with reliability and simplicity as base fundamentals. With that said, our RX series has a full, secure enclosure that can withstand the most severe of weather conditions as well as operator misuse or vandalism.

Can I use a pressure washer all year round?

With a Rhinowash, you can. All of our products have thermal protection through our frost protection system. Our RX series has thermal insulation for enhanced protection at sub-zero temperatures, whilst our thermal insulated heat trace system protects the hose from pump to reel.

Why are you called Rhinowash?

Because we wash Rhinos? As much as we’d love to say this is true, it’s sadly not! Our products are durable, reliable, robust, we have a fast response time, and some are even grey – this covers the rhino part. And well, we manufacture wash solutions; Rhinowash!

What is pressure washing?

Pressure washing is the use of a high-pressure water spray that can remove even the toughest build-up of dirt and grime, both indoors and outdoors, across a variety of surfaces. The high-pressure water travels through a hose to a spray gun with a nozzle at the end, which is used to direct the spay as you clean, loosening dirt and flushing it away. Whilst there are varying flow and pressure rates, it’s estimated that the pressure is 60 times that of a garden hose!

What are the benefits of pressure washing?

For those who think that pressure washer cleaning solutions aren’t vital to your business operations, think again! We believe that a wash system is an integral part to many businesses, as this ensures that your vehicles are kept in the best condition possible to ensure that they can perform to their optimum ability and so reducing any downtime. Our machines are manufactured in the UK, to the highest quality, so you can trust that your equipment is built to last and can be relied upon for many years to come.

How does the Rhinowash pressure washer work?

At Rhinowash, we offer not just one but two of the highest quality pressure washer solutions on the market, the RX Series and the ST Series. Both products have been built with reliability and simplicity as base fundamentals. The ST series is durable and serviceable and can personalised to fit your needs with varying performances and add on accessories. Whereas the RX series is the ultimate solution for any location, as it can withstand even the most severe weather conditions and offers both remote operation and secure locking, keeping the operator and the pressure washer equipment safe.

What is the difference between a pressure washer and a power washer?

To be honest, there is no difference as practically they are the same machine and serve the same purpose. The terms are loosely used interchangeably—a bit like a vacuum and a hoover.
